A crazy day!!!

We had quite the day on Thursday the 13Th. It was Sean's 1 month b-day! He is so much fun. Time goes by way too fast!!

We got to go watch Alyssa in her school's Christmas program! It was fun to watch, even though Alyssa seemed more interested in everything but the performance.

Waiting with her class for their turn to go up and sing their songs.

It is hard to see her but on the top she is standing next to ms. Jeanne on the far right and on the bottom picture she is on the far right in the black and white dress.

Then around 11 pm that night our car was stolen. We were in our bedroom watching a laker game when we heard our car's horn honk, so we got up and looked out our window to see our car driving off. We called the police right away to file a report and within 5 min the police showed up at our house. They called us at 1 am to tell us they had our car and we needed to go pick it up. When Ryan showed up there were cop cars everywhere and the k-9 units were out. After a "high speed" chase, the perps tried to jump the median and blew out the front tires. The police caught one of them and had the k-9 units after the other one. We had to replace our front tires and the ignition, which is much better then having no car! By the end of the night we had our car back, Ryan learned how to hot wire a car, and we even laughed a little over how crazy all of this was!

After all of the craziness we decided the next day to bring the holiday cheer back into our home.
We got a ginger bread house to make with dad when he came home from work.
Ryan's job is to build the house and then the girls get to decorate it.

Alyssa had a lot of fun making her ginger bread house with mom and dad. She was really good at putting the lights on the house, and even better at eating them!!

That is crazy! I agree, a car with no wheels is better than no car! It's good that you were laughing about it.

What a story...good thing you heard the horn and were paying enough attention to peek out the window. I'm glad it all ended up OK. The car is back. I can't believe Sean is already one month. Doesn't the time fly! The little socks we bought at Gap outlet when we went shopping finally had to be packed away. They are way too small. They never actually ever fit Jacob's big feet, but I was able to get away with Jacob wearing them despite the heel mark being in the middle of his foot. Is Sean a big-foot too? We wish you were here for the holidays, miss you!
