Bathroom Remodel

This August we decided to remodel our one and only bathroom.(which is especially fun when you have a toddler, a pregnant lady, and no toilet.) We were lucky to be able to fly Ryan's dad out to do most all of the work. It was a long week but we are very happy with the end results. we love our new bathroom!!

Here are some of the before pictures.

Right before his dad flew out we noticed water dripping from the ceiling. Our neighbor upstairs had an issue and it leaked through our ceiling. Luckily the insurance adjuster came quick and we were able to hurry and replace the whole ceiling so we could start the rest of the remodel. We were just glad it all happened before we redid everything and not right after we finished.

This is a picture of the ceiling when we noticed the water leaking through.

After they replaced the ceiling.

finally the bathroom demo can begin!

As soon as Pat got up the next day he got going on the floor, so he cold get the new toilet installed as soon as possible.
He was able to get the toilet in the next day for us. It was nice to not have to worry about finding a toilet in the middle of the night.

Our friends Jeremy and Jessica, that live above us were nice enough to share their shower with us during the week, which we were so grateful for.
Time to start hanging tiles.

Pat would go out and cut the tile and bring them in to Ryan to hang. They went really fast and did a great job!

The worst part of the remodel was changing out the old plumbing in the shower with the three knobs to the new plumbing. It was such a pain and we ended up calling a plumber to come save us and had to turn the water off to the whole bldg while we fixed some problems. Once that was over we were able to hang the new fixtures and enjoy the new bathroom!

Here are some of the pictures before we finished hanging up some of the accessories.

We could never thank Pat enough for all of the work he did. There is no way we could have pulled it off with out him!
